FNC Entertainment announced on the 19th, "Lee Hong-gi will remake PSY's 'Because it Rains.' It will be released on major music streaming sites at 6 PM on the 6th of next month."

'Because it Rains' is a song that PSY released in 2006. It captures the protagonist's complex emotions as they call an old lover on a rainy day.

Lee Hong-gi has perfected a different charm from PSY. While maintaining the original song's melancholic emotions, he added the sentiment of heartbreak with his unique refreshing and expressive vocals.

A representative noted, "Lee Hong-gi's simple and immersive singing style blends with the gradually escalating emotional line. He completed 'Because it Rains' in his own color."

This remake is part of the 'Today's Song Selection' project. Artists like 'Big Mama' Park Min-hye, Lim Han-byul, Lee Ye-joon, Monday Kiz, and Heo Gak are participating, showcasing well-made productions.
