False report received and dispatch… "No basis at all"
Immediately after former President Yoon Seok-yeol's spouse, Kim Geon-hee, was hospitalized at Asan Medical Center in Seoul, a false report claiming that drugs were being administered in the hospital was received, prompting the police to launch an investigation.
On the 19th, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency stated, "On the afternoon of the 17th, a report was received that Mrs. Kim was using drugs in the hospital."
The police who received the report immediately began verifying its accuracy, but the reporter was unable to provide specific circumstances or evidence.
A police official explained, "Upon checking the contents of the report, we found it to be utterly absurd," and added, "After directly interviewing the reporter, we concluded it was clearly a false report."

Identifying the false reporter… investigating mental history as well
The police are currently conducting a formal investigation regarding the false report, including whether to pursue criminal charges.
In particular, basic information regarding the false reporter's mental health history is being separately verified by the local police station.
Incident involving chicken delivery during hospitalization… hospital "refused to accept"
While hospitalized, there was a humorous incident where a person presumed to be a supporter attempted to have chicken delivered and requested it be handed over.
The hospital reported that the delivered food was not accepted and was sent back.
Meanwhile, it has been reported that Mrs. Kim is receiving treatment at Asan Medical Center in Seoul due to the exacerbation of her chronic illness, including depression. Official statements regarding the duration of her hospitalization or her condition have not been disclosed.
