Brown Eyed Soul's Jung Yup welcomed a son five years after getting married.

His agency, Innexttrend, announced on the 19th to Dispatch, "Jung Yup's wife gave birth to their first son earlier this month." Both the mother and baby are in good health.

Jung Yup expressed his feelings about becoming a father. "I still can't believe it and I'm feeling a bit dazed. As a dad who is a little late to the game, I'm worried about raising him healthily," he said.

He vowed to do his best in his parental role. Jung Yup shared, "Still, I will raise him with a grateful heart and prayers."

Jung Yup married a non-celebrity woman seven years younger than him on March 7, 2020. Since they met at church, the wedding was held in a worship style with only family members in attendance.

Meanwhile, Jung Yup debuted with Brown Eyed Soul in 2003. He has released numerous hit songs including "Did We Really Love?" and "My Story."
