Rosé sets new K-pop record… Charting on Billboard for the 34th week

Rosé of 'BLACKPINK' has achieved the longest record for K-pop on the U.S. Billboard charts. She has successfully remained on the chart for 34 consecutive weeks.

Billboard released its latest rankings on the 17th (Korean time). Rosé's first full-length album pre-released track 'APT.' debuted at 24th on the main singles chart 'Hot 100.'

'APT.' has now ranked for 34 consecutive weeks, setting a new K-pop record. The previous highest record was held by 'BTS' member Jimin, who had charted 'WHO' for 33 weeks consecutively.

Rosé has rewritten K-pop history. Despite being released in October of last year, it has showcased sustained popularity. At the time of its release, it achieved a perfect all-kill (PAK) on domestic music sites.

Rosé has claimed the titles of first and highest record. She swept the major global pop charts, entering the Billboard 'Hot 100' at 8th and the UK Official Singles Chart 'Top 100' at 4th.
