Singer Lee Seung-gi supported life-sharing initiatives and took part in a campaign to raise awareness about the value of blood donation.
On the 14th, Lee Seung-gi participated as the eighth runner in the 'Korean Red Cross 12th Anniversary X Day of Blood Donors Blood Donation Relay Campaign.' He took a photo holding a panel encouraging blood donation.
He is an ambassador for the Korean Red Cross. His connection began during his high school days through youth Red Cross (RCY) activities. Since then, he has consistently practiced goodwill through charitable contributions.
His total donations amount to approximately 760 million KRW. In 2021, he donated 30 million KRW in scholarships for underprivileged students and also supported the production costs of mobile meal trucks and blood donation buses.
This campaign was organized to commemorate the 120th anniversary of the Korean Red Cross and 'Day of Blood Donors.' Actors Ahn Jae-wook, Cha Seo-won, and broadcaster Lee Soo-geun also contributed to promoting blood donation.
The Korean Red Cross expressed gratitude by stating, "Lee Seung-gi, our ambassador, is someone who has quietly practiced giving and volunteering," and noted that he conveyed a life-sharing message through the campaign.
Meanwhile, Lee Seung-gi is set to appear at the '2025 Yeosu K-Mega Island Festival' which opens on the 26th of next month.
