Daegu Mental Hospital Escape Incident
An incident occurred at a mental hospital in Dalseo District, Daegu, where patients who were hospitalized attacked a nurse and subsequently escaped.
According to the Seongseo Police Station in Daegu, on the 15th, around 7 PM on the 14th, A (17) and B (26), who were hospitalized in a closed ward, choked a nurse until she lost consciousness and then stole her access card to flee the hospital.
Police apprehended B on the day of the crime; however, the minor A remains at large and has not been caught.
As the escape from the mental hospital has heightened anxiety among local residents, the police are currently tracking A's whereabouts.
Condition of the Injured Nurse and Police Response
