The Yes24 service has partially resumed. This recovery comes five days after a system failure occurred.
Yes24 posted a notice on its website on the 13th, stating, "The Yes24 book and ticket services have resumed," and apologized for the significant inconvenience experienced by all users due to the service disruption.
Not all services are available yet. Currently, the restored services include book and music/DVD purchases, stationery/GIFT purchases, order payments, 1:1 inquiries, and ticket services.
Many services remain unavailable. They are being restored sequentially. Features such as product details, cart/payment, My Page, integrated search, attendance check events, and major services are still blocked.
They are preparing compensation measures. "We are developing compensation plans for members who have suffered direct damage as well as all members and partners," and added, "We will inform you through our website and individual notifications as soon as plans are finalized after stabilizing the service."
They have also promised to prevent recurrence. "We will strengthen our security checks and system management systems and focus on preventive measures," they emphasized. For related inquiries, users can contact the Yes24 customer service center.
Yes24 has been experiencing a system outage since the 9th. The outage was caused by a ransomware hacking attack that paralyzed its app and communication network. Yes24 has 20 million customers, and the inconvenience and anxiety have continued for five days.
