The 'Secret' of a Letter Paper Sold at Daiso
An astonishing secret contained in a letter paper sold at Daiso has become a hot topic.
Recently, a post titled "The Reason Why Some Daiso Product Packaging is Crooked" was uploaded to an online community.
The author, referred to as A, introduced themselves by saying, "You know the 1,000 won letter paper set sold at Daiso? I am the person in charge of the manufacturing process for that product."
A continued, "When we receive items from a middle company, the packaging work is done by disabled workers and trainees," and added, "So sometimes the bands may be too high or too low."

A expressed, "Due to not being able to count, and carefully applying tape with trembling hands, please understand if it doesn’t meet your expectations."
Although the company conducts intermediate inspections to minimize defective products, A mentioned that there may be defects that go unnoticed.
Upon seeing this, netizens reacted with comments such as, "Reveal what the delivered letter paper is immediately. I'll support them financially," "Please attach a note to inform us, so we can buy with a warm heart," "I really didn't know this fact at all," and "I thought it was just produced in a factory…"

One netizen shared, "My son also worked at a disabled worker facility assembling kitchen items," adding, "There are surprisingly many Daiso products made by disabled workers in Korea."
They continued, "For parents with disabled children, it’s good in terms of giving them a sense of value by establishing a daily commute habit and concepts of economy and responsibility," and stated, "When I go to Daiso, I often think 'Ah, this product was probably made by someone with a disability.'"
As requests poured in to show the letter paper packaged by disabled workers, A stated, "Thank you for your great interest and love. It is a 3-type blue letter paper set surrounded by a white band."
