Star English instructor Cho Jung-sik (42) canceled his scheduled broadcasting interview.

Channel A's "Teachers Season 2" team sent a lengthy text to the press around 7 PM on the 12th. A round interview was set to take place the following day, the 13th, at 11 AM.

The production team announced, "The participants in the round interview have changed," adding, "Original cast members Jeong Seung-je, Cho Jung-sik, and Yoon Hye-jeong were expected to attend, but after discussions, only two of the production team members will participate." This decision was made considering that Cho Jung-sik has been sent to prosecution on charges related to questionable transactions with active teachers. It was further stated, "We judged that there is a significant risk of the original intent being distorted due to recent reports."

On the previous afternoon, the "Teachers Season 2" team had disclosed plans for the interview to proceed as scheduled. They expressed their apologies for the sudden notice of participant changes.

It was later revealed that Cho Jung-sik was sent to prosecution without detention on charges including obstruction of business. He allegedly purchased questions for private teaching materials from an active teacher for 58 million won (pre-tax).

He firmly stated regarding these allegations, "There is absolutely no truth to the claims that I directly paid the aforementioned teacher 58 million won," adding, "I am confident that I will be proven completely innocent."

Meanwhile, Cho Jung-sik is a leading instructor for Megastudy English and is currently appearing on Channel A's "Teachers Season 2."
