Actors Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Sun-kyu reunite in a drama following their collaboration in the film 'Crime City' (directed by Kang Yoon-sung). Coupang Play and Genie TV announced the casting lineup for the new original series 'UDT: Our Town Special Forces' on the 10th.

'UDT: Our Town Special Forces' is a story about ordinary heroes. It tells the tale of retired special forces members who carry out joint operations for their family and community.

Yoon Kye-sang plays the role of Choi Gang, an insurance investigator. Although he comes from a background in the JDD Special Forces, he externally presents as someone who seems like he never served in the military.

Jin Sun-kyu portrays Kwak Byeong-nam, who runs a hardware and stationery store. In his youth, he was part of the HID Counter-Terrorism Unit. Currently, he lives as the youth president of Changri-dong.

The special chemistry between the two is raising expectations. Yoon Kye-sang and Jin Sun-kyu played a gang boss and a member of the organization, respectively, in 'Crime City.'

The direction is handled by Jo Woong, who has showcased his skillful directing in dramas like 'Justice' and 'Quiet Sales.' The script is written by Kim Sang-yoon.

Meanwhile, 'UDT: Our Town Special Forces' will begin full-scale filming this month and is set to be released in the second half of this year.
