Lee Jae-myung's Watch Priced at 40,000 Won Sold Out… "If You Order Now, You'll Receive It Next Month"

The wristwatch worn by President Lee Jae-myung has gained popularity and is now completely sold out and discontinued.

On the 9th, News1 reported, citing the presidential office and the retail industry, that the watch frequently worn by President Lee at various meetings is from the E-land brand OST, specifically the 'Moonlight Garden Black Leather Watch' product.

According to reports, this watch, released in 2019, has an official retail price in the 50,000 won range, but it was sold for around 40,000 won in online stores.

However, as this watch became known as the 'President's Watch,' it has been reported that stocks have run out.

An E-land official mentioned to News1 that they generally continue to sell products through reorder processes for more than 4 to 5 years after their launch, but this particular product was ultimately sold out and discontinued on the 9th.

Currently, some OST stores have confirmed that they are accepting pre-orders for scheduled shipments on July 17th, labeled as the 'OST President's Watch.'

Earlier, other items worn by President Lee, such as eyeglass frames and sneakers, also became popular, leading to stock shortages.

The titanium eyeglass frames worn by President Lee during his campaign, priced at 240,000 won, have sold out in all colors on the official store.

Additionally, Reebok sneakers, which were sold at a discounted price of 35,600 won on the official website, have been flying off the shelves since being worn by the president, with resale instances reaching over ten times the original selling price.

As interest in the fashion items chosen by President Lee grows, there are reports that he has declined to create a 'Presidential Watch,' a tradition upheld by past presidents, generating further discussion.
