A man in his 20s turns himself in after killing his partner in her 40s

A shocking murder case has occurred in Daejeon. A man in his 20s has killed a woman in her 40s, with whom he was in a romantic relationship, and turned himself in to the police.

According to a report by Newsis on the 9th, the Daejeon District Prosecutor's Office has arrested and indicted the man, referred to as A, on murder charges on the 4th. A made a direct call to the emergency services at around 5:40 PM on the 11th of last month, stating, "I killed someone," thereby confessing to his crime.

Upon receiving the report, the police immediately dispatched officers to A's residence in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.

At the scene, the body of a woman in her 40s, referred to as B, was discovered, and it was found to be in a state of advanced decomposition at the time of the discovery.

After the murder, A attempted to take his own life but was not in critical condition.

Investigations revealed that after killing his partner B, A also attempted to make an extreme choice regarding his own life.

Fortunately, A is reported to be in a stable condition and not in life-threatening danger.
