Busan Gijang-gun, 59 Traffic Law Violators Caught in Massive Operation
In Busan Gijang-gun, many drivers engaged in vehicle chaos and traffic law violations have been caught.
On the 9th, the Busan Gijang Police announced that a massive traffic enforcement operation conducted from 7 PM on the 5th to 2 AM the following day in areas such as Jeonggwan and Osiria led to a total of 59 violators being apprehended.

This enforcement operation was carried out with a total of 20 personnel from the traffic management, traffic safety, traffic investigation departments, local police, and undercover police.
As a result of the operation, various violation cases were confirmed, including 28 instances of motorcycle violations (such as running red lights), 2 instances of violating the Automobile Management Act, 3 unregistered vehicles, 26 other vehicle-related violations, and 3 instances of drunk driving.
Criminal Charges and Investigation for Reckless Driving Planned
The police will take criminal action against unregistered motorcycles and violators of the Automobile Management Act, and will conduct further investigations on vehicles that engaged in reckless driving, such as drifting, in the Osiria area.

The head of the Gijang Police Station emphasized, "Recently, traffic accidents due to motorcycle traffic law violations have frequently occurred, and various complaints have been raised due to vehicle chaos. Therefore, we conducted this traffic enforcement operation," adding, "We are determined to continue enforcement without regard to time or place to prevent traffic fatalities."
