Actress Jeon Do-yeon showcases high-dimensional acting.

On the 1st, the team of the movie 'Revolver' (directed by Oh Seung-wook) released character stills of Jeon Do-yeon. Jeon Do-yeon plays 'Soo-young', revealing a new side of herself that has not been seen before.

Soo-young is a former police officer who takes the fall for all crimes and goes to prison. After her release, she heads straight toward her singular goal. Jeon Do-yeon perfectly embodies the role.

With her hollow eyes and face, and her relentless determination to exact revenge, Jeon Do-yeon elevates various aspects of Soo-young in her own unique way.

One can instantly sense Soo-young's mental changes after two years of imprisonment. Through her hairstyle and clothing, she shows the contrast between her past and present.

In addition to acting, she put a lot of thought into her external transformation. Jeon Do-yeon confessed, "I wondered how I could show even a slightly different appearance."

Director Oh Seung-wook said, "I considered the immense empathy Jeon Do-yeon possesses and wrote the narrative for a protagonist with a 'heart of steel.'"

Jeon Do-yeon expressed, "I don't think I've ever acted with such expressions and emotions before," adding, "The director said he discovered a new face of mine, which felt exhilarating."

Director Oh praised, "In 'Revolver,' there are faces of Jeon Do-yeon that have never been revealed before. She is a veteran who instinctively pinpoints the key elements of a scene."

Jeon Do-yeon added, "I liked the reckless determination and notion of keeping promises to myself. Soo-young is a character who knows how to carve out her own life."

Meanwhile, 'Revolver' is set to be released in theaters on the 7th of next month.
