J-Hope explores street dance in a documentary series, with the first episode released.

“BTS” J-Hope’s street dance exploration journey has finally set sail.

J-Hope released the first episode of his documentary series ‘Hope on the Street’ through Tving and Prime Video at midnight on the 28th.

First, J-Hope explained the reason behind the project. “I kept asking myself what ultimately brought me here. The answer was always ‘dance,’” he shared.

He also opened up about moments of pressure and limitation. Recalling the Osaka episode, he said, “Being the person leading the content, I felt a psychological burden and pressure that ‘I can’t fail.’”

As an unforgettable episode, he mentioned the New York part. “I was confident in hip-hop, but for the first time, I felt something I couldn’t follow,” he revealed.

J-Hope poured his sincerity about dance into this documentary series. “Depending on the music, styling, and angle, the atmosphere of the dance changes,” he mentioned.

He also performed a freestyle dance to the first track of his special album, ‘On the Street’. “This song opens the door to ‘Hope on the Streets’,” he announced.

Furthermore, he added, “I started (this song) thinking it would allow me to express myself as I am, encapsulating my attitude and emotions towards the street.”

‘Hope on the Street’ is about J-Hope using dance as a medium to search for dreams. It features a ‘dance exploration journey’ across Japan, France, the United States, and Korea. New episodes are released every Thursday and Friday.
