We only helped produce a song for Olivia Marsh." Olivia Marsh is Daniel's older sister. He added, "I apologize if I caused any confusion. That was never my intention," and expressed, "I hope to see you all on tour soon."

Emotional Oranges had previously posted on the 19th, "Please wait just a little longer. Coming soon," along with a photo taken with Daniel, who was sitting on a studio chair. They included the orange emoji, representing Emotional Oranges, and the rabbit emoji, symbolizing NewJeans. This sparked speculation about a collaboration with Daniel. The issue arises from NewJeans currently being in a contract dispute with Ador, resulting in a court ruling prohibiting their independent activities. The post in question has since been deleted.
