A notice warning residents to be cautious of a 'stranger' who asks to borrow a cell phone to obtain their number and then contacts them has been posted in an apartment complex.

On the 16th, a notice titled "Stranger Beware" was shared on several online communities, indicating that such a warning had been issued in a particular apartment complex.

According to the shared notice, a stranger has recently appeared near the apartment complex, approaching female students to borrow their cell phones and then obtaining their phone numbers to reach out to them.

The apartment management stated, "For the safety of your children, please refer to the safety guidelines below and maintain continuous safety monitoring."

The written safety guidelines advise residents to direct anyone asking to borrow a cell phone to the management office or security post.

It also emphasizes that residents should neither accept nor consume any money, snacks, or drinks offered by strangers, and if approached for directions, they should only provide information without following anyone.

The management further urged, "If you see a friend going with a stranger, please quickly inform an adult, the management office, or the security post," and added, "In case of any harmful interactions with strangers, yell to alert those around you and actively report to 112."

Parents were reminded to inquire about whom their children are going out with, where they are going, and when they will return, and to always stay vigilant regarding their safety.

Finally, the apartment management requested that if a stranger attempts to open the front door when no adult is home, residents should report it to the management office or security post.

Internet users who saw the notice responded with comments such as, "There are really many people like this. Please be careful," "There are also criminals who borrow phones to install hacking apps," and "Because of some people, society is becoming increasingly bleak."
