'BTS' members Jimin and Jungkook have felt the global popularity firsthand. They were honored at the Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Awards in the United States.

The American copyright organization BMI held the '2025 BMI Pop Awards' on the 13th (local time) in Los Angeles, where they announced the list of award winners. The BMI Pop Awards is a prestigious event with a long tradition, having been held continuously for over 60 years since its inception in 1952. It recognizes songs and artists who have achieved remarkable success in the pop music field.

Jimin and Jungkook's songs were selected as the 'Most Performed Songs of the Year.' They stood shoulder to shoulder with global pop stars like Taylor Swift and Lady Gaga. This category selects the top 50 songs that were most performed on radio, TV, and live performances within the United States over the year. A total of 51 songs were chosen this year, with Jimin and Jungkook both featuring two tracks each.

Jimin made the list with 'Like Crazy' and 'Who.' He set the record for the longest-charting K-pop solo artist. 'Who' remained on the Billboard Hot 100 chart for 33 weeks.

Jungkook also had explosive popularity. He set records with '3D' and 'Standing Next to You,' both of which topped the Billboard Global Chart upon release.

This is Jungkook's third consecutive year receiving an award at this ceremony. He made the list in 2023 with his collaboration 'Left and Right' featuring Charlie Puth and in 2024 with 'Seven.'
