Aespa is returning with a new album.
SM Entertainment announced on the 15th that "Aespa is preparing for a comeback aimed for June."
This will be their first release in about 8 months since their fifth mini album 'Whiplash.' They have showcased their evolved musical capabilities with each release.
They continue the 'Soeo' craze, achieving mega hits last year with 'Supernova,' 'Armageddon,' and 'Whiplash.'
They have also achieved various accomplishments, including a record of five consecutive million-seller albums with 'Whiplash.' 'Supernova' became a hit song that stayed the longest in the top 10 of Melon's 'Top 100.'
Their global popularity has also been proven, with a total of six songs entering the major U.S. Billboard charts (Global 200). They were included in NME's '50 Best Songs of 2024.'
They swept various award ceremonies, receiving grand prizes at the 'Melon Music Awards,' 'Korea Grand Music Awards,' and 'MAMA Awards.'
Meanwhile, Aespa recently completed their second world tour 'SYNK: PARALLEL LINE.'
