
Actor Lee Sung-min is joining a new agency.
HB Entertainment announced on the 14th that they have signed an exclusive contract with Lee Sung-min. "We are honored to be working with Lee Sung-min, who represents the Republic of Korea," they stated.
The agency promises to support him so that he can focus on his acting. "We will spare no effort in providing comprehensive support so that he can continue his extensive career," they pledged.
Lee Sung-min debuted in 1987 with the play 'Lithuania' and has been active for 39 years without a break. He has passionately engaged in performances across stage, screen, and television.
He has produced numerous hit works, earning the title of 'trustworthy actor' through dramas like 'Reborn Rich', 'Misaeng', and films such as 'Handsome Guys' and 'Spring in Seoul.'
He has been honored at various award ceremonies, winning the Best Actor trophy in the TV category at the 51st and 59th Baeksang Arts Awards.
Recently, Lee Sung-min was cast in JTBC's new drama 'God's Jewel.' This historical drama is set in the Goryeo Dynasty, where he will play the role of Choi Gu, the leader of a special forces unit called Yabyeolcho.
A representative stated, "Lee Sung-min will once again dominate the television screen with his acting spectrum that freely traverses genres and characters."
Meanwhile, HB Entertainment is a comprehensive entertainment company. In addition to Lee Sung-min, it also represents Ahn Jae-hyun, Jo Byung-kyu, Joo Sang-wook, and Cha Ye-ryeon.
