Jung Hae-in X Ha-young, Romantic Comedy Chemistry… Casting for ‘Such a Shitty Love’

Actor Jung Hae-in and Ha-young are teaming up for a sweet romantic comedy. On the 14th, Netflix announced the casting lineup for the new series "This Awful Love" (written by Mo Ji-hye, directed by Kim Jang-han), stating, "Jung Hae-in and Ha-young have been confirmed to star."

"This Awful Love" is a romantic comedy that tells the story of a prosecutor with amnesia and a boxing coach who claims to be her boyfriend, embarking on an exciting cohabitation life. Jung Hae-in will play the role of Jang Tae-ha, a boxing gym coach who transitioned from a promising boxing athlete to a gangster. During his final mission, he encounters his first love and tells a life-risking lie.

Ha-young will portray Ko Eun-sae, a prosecutor in the Anti-Corruption Investigation Department of the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office. In pursuit of a violent organization for her career advancement, she has an accident and wakes up in a rural hospital with amnesia.

The chemistry between the two in this romantic comedy is a point of anticipation. Jung Hae-in has showcased his "romance guru" qualities in various works, while Ha-young is expected to display her charming appeal in diverse ways.

The drama is directed by Kim Jang-han, known for series such as "Do You Like Brahms?" and "My Demon." He will collaborate with scriptwriter Mo Ji-hye to create synergy.

Meanwhile, "This Awful Love" will be released on Netflix.
