Lee Jun-seok Criticizes Kim Moon-soo: "If the Martial Law Was Wrong, Yoon Seok-youl Should Be Expelled and He Should Withdraw as a Candidate"
Reform Party presidential candidate Lee Jun-seok strongly criticized the People Power Party candidate Kim Moon-soo's statement of 'apology for martial law.'

Candidate Lee stated during a press conference after his campaign at Kyungpook National University on the 13th, "If Candidate Kim truly believes that martial law was wrong, he should immediately expel former President Yoon Seok-youl and, because he became a candidate thanks to the ‘anti-impeachment’ (pro-Yoon) faction, it is appropriate for him to withdraw as a candidate."
Regarding Kim's comments, Lee noted, "The public sentiment is fierce, and I think there is little significance in statements made under pressure." He continued, "If Candidate Kim is going to proclaim opposition to martial law and support for impeachment, he must first acknowledge that his previous actions in the People Power Party primary were close to fraud."
"The candidate wearing three layers of headgear… It is absurd for him to represent the conservative camp."
In particular, Lee criticized Kim's remark that the decision to expel former President Yoon depends on "his own intention," stating, "That is the essence of Kim's dual identity. He is a candidate wearing three layers of headgear. It is absurd for Kim to represent the conservative camp in this state."

Lee also took to Facebook to respond to Kim's mention that "demanding former President Yoon's expulsion is not the proper way." He stated, "It’s not the feudal-era relationship between a lord and vassal. Why should the public uphold any obligation toward Yoon Seok-youl?" He expressed indignation that, having elevated those who shouted against impeachment, such as the 'Yoon again' group, to the presidential candidate position, he is now appealing to the public for votes. "At this point, it is not merely a case of ‘disguising the wolf with a sheep’s hide,’ but rather acts of terror against the public."
Regarding the possibility of unification with Kim, he added, "I wish Candidate Kim would refrain from mentioning unification with me or a big tent any longer. I think he can freely pursue a big tent with the Liberty Unification Party or Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon if that somewhat aligns with his ideology."
