According to the Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) on the 10th, the earthquake occurred at 1:19 PM, with a depth measured at 9 km. The exact epicenter location was confirmed to be at a latitude of 38.14° N and a longitude of 127.09° E.

The KMA advised, "Areas near the epicenter may feel seismic vibrations," urging people to be cautious for their safety.
