Lee Jae-myung Completes Registration as the Candidate for the 21st Presidential Election
Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate from the Democratic Party of Korea, has officially completed his registration as a candidate for the 21st presidential election at the National Election Commission.
On the morning of the 10th, Kim Yoon-deok, the Secretary-General of the Democratic Party's Central Election Headquarters, and Im Ho-sun, the chief deputy of the Secretary-General's Office, visited the National Election Commission in Gyeonggi Province to file the candidate registration application on behalf of Lee.
After completing the registration process, Kim stated in a meeting with reporters that "this presidential election is a battle between a true Republic of Korea and a false Republic of Korea," emphasizing, "We must win and reclaim the true Republic of Korea, not a false Taegeukgi."

At the registration site, a significant moment occurred when actor Lee Kwan-ho handed a carrying pole to Kim. Lee mentioned that this carrying pole carries the message of "becoming a true worker for the people."
This appears to symbolically represent the role of the president who must bear the burden of the nation.

Meanwhile, according to the National Election Commission, the candidate registration for the presidential election will take place over two days, from the 10th to the 11th.
During this period, candidates from each party must complete their official registration to participate in the 21st presidential election, which will be held on March 9.
Lee Jae-myung has been actively engaged in the presidential campaign since being selected as the Democratic Party's candidate in October of last year, and with this candidate registration, he has officially entered the presidential race.
The Democratic Party aims to reclaim power in this election and is expected to intensify its election strategy centered around Lee Jae-myung.
