| Air Busan crew members claim they don't use any dialect causing a stir
The cute appearance of Air Busan crew members who use dialects so noticeably yet believe they don’t use any at all is gaining great popularity online.
Recently, a video titled "Air Busan crew members who claim they don’t use any dialect" has been shared on online communities and social media, receiving a hot response.
The video, uploaded two months ago on the official Air Busan YouTube channel, captures the process of crew members attempting to speak in standard Seoul dialect despite having strong regional accents.
In the video, the production team stated that they received reports about the crew members’ strong dialects and asked them where they were from. Two crew members responded that they were from Busan and Daegu respectively.
Next, the production team asked whether the crew members ever considered correcting their dialect while preparing for their jobs.
One crew member responded first, saying, "Since I don’t use dialects much in the first place, I never thought I needed to correct it," while another crew member agreed, stating, "During the interview, I naturally spoke in Seoul dialect," showing solidarity.
However, despite making these statements, the crew members delivered perfect dialect tones, bringing lots of laughter. They continued to use dialects throughout the interview, completely unaware of this fact themselves.
When the production team asked again if they were currently not using dialects, the crew members confidently replied that they were not.
When the production team inquired if there had been instances where passengers couldn’t understand them due to their strong dialects, they strongly denied it, stating they had not experienced that to such an extent.
Instead, they shared a story where their colleagues from the capital area complimented them, saying, "I thought you were from Seoul," praising their ability to speak well in standard Seoul dialect.
Surprised by the unexpected responses, the production team humorously suggested, "Perhaps you should reconsider your relationship with that person," eliciting laughter.
The cute crew members' surprising behavior prompted netizens to respond with comments like "Definitely dialect," "Dialect is charming," "So cute," "Pretty faces and cute too," "They just claim not to use dialects but their tone is," "Only people from Busan insist they don't use it," "Please don't fix the dialect," and more, reflecting a strong reaction.
