NewJeans continues to make waves on Spotify, adding another milestone to their list of achievements with ‘Hype Boy’ surpassing 500 million streams.

NewJeans has achieved a new milestone with their debut song ‘Hype Boy’, surpassing 500 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. As of March 16, ‘Hype Boy’, a title track from their single album ‘New Jeans’, has accumulated over 505,057,946 streams.

With this achievement, NewJeans now has three songs that have crossed the 500 million stream mark on Spotify, including their hit tracks ‘OMG’ and ‘Ditto’. ‘OMG’, in particular, has surpassed 600 million streams.

‘Hype Boy’ combines the refreshing and sophisticated sounds of moombahton and electro-pop, creating a sensation upon its release in August 2022 and quickly dominating charts both domestically and internationally.

NewJeans has produced a total of 10 songs with over a hundred million streams on Spotify. Besides ‘OMG’, ‘Hype Boy’, and ‘Ditto’, ‘Super Shy’ has exceeded 400 million streams, ‘Attention’ has over 300 million streams, and ‘Cookie’ and ‘New Jeans’ have each surpassed 200 million streams. ‘Hurt’, ‘ETA’, and ‘Cool With You’ have each reached over 100 million streams.

Collectively, all of NewJeans’ songs have amassed over 3.9 billion streams on Spotify, showcasing their global popularity and impact.
