Han Duck-soo Candidate Declares "Unconditionally Accept" in Unification Negotiations with Kim Moon-soo

Independent presidential candidate Han Duck-soo stated on the 4th that there are "no conditions at all" regarding unification negotiations with Kim Moon-soo, the presidential candidate from the People Power Party, adding that he will "unconditionally accept everything."

During an interview with Channel A on the same day, Han made it clear that he is willing to accept any form of negotiation, including surveys or debates, in response to questions about the conditions for unification negotiations with the People Power Party.

Han mentioned that he has already communicated with Kim and expressed a desire to meet soon, saying, "I would like to tell him what I plan to do."

Kim also agreed to this and promised a meeting in the near future.

Han added, "I will directly inform Kim and proceed with practical consultations as well."

Relationship with Former President Yoon Seok-youl and Presentation of Political Vision

Han emphasized that former President Yoon Seok-youl had no involvement in his decision to run for the presidential office, stating, "Former President Yoon has never been involved or said anything at all," and clarified, "It is purely my personal judgment."

Regarding the 'big tent' proposal and the demand from former representative Lee Nak-yon's camp for a name change of the People Power Party, he took a flexible stance, saying, "All issues can be negotiated and discussed."

On the question of joining the People Power Party, Han replied, "It is more important to gather people who share thoughts on constitutional amendments."

In response to criticisms regarding his lack of experience in Yeouido politics, he retorted, "I have been watching what type of politics makes our citizens happier and strengthens the nation for over 50 years," and expressed his intention to utilize his government experience fully to pursue harmonious politics based on his governance experience.

Criticism of the Democratic Party and Commitment to Realizing Constitutional Amendments

Han strongly criticized the Democratic Party's move to impeach Chief Justice Cho Hee-dae, calling it a "constitutional violation."

He defined this act as "an act that destroys the liberal democracy that has sustained our country and allowed the people to live happily."

Regarding Democratic candidate Lee Jae-myung, he pointed out the judicial risks, stating, "Every politician must clearly understand that they cannot stand above the law."

Concerning the feasibility of the constitutional amendment proposal limiting the presidential term to three years, he emphasized, "I will never do that," and asserted that he has "no desire or ambition for power," demonstrating a firm commitment to the term limit proposal.
