Lee Jae-myung Declares the Launch of the Unified Election Committee with the People
Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, stated on the 30th at the launch ceremony of the election campaign committee held at the National Assembly member’s office building, "I will listen to the voices of the people at their eye level and move forward with the people."
He emphasized that the official launch of this campaign committee is not just for the victory of the Democratic Party, but rather the beginning of a great journey that will open a new chapter for the Republic of Korea.

The candidate remarked that we are at a historical crossroads that will determine whether the Republic of Korea will rise as a leading hope nation in the world or fall into a peripheral underdeveloped country through destructive backlash.
He added that the only driving force to prevent regression and destruction and guide us towards hope and the future is national unity.
Furthermore, he described this election not merely as a competition between political parties, but as a battle between the future and the past, resurgence and regression, as well as hope and despair.
The candidate highlighted, "A massive wave of a new era centered on AI, a global new order, is approaching," suggesting that our internal conflicts and confrontations may be trivial and insignificant.
After the launch ceremony, in a meeting with reporters, he explained the 15 candidate-led committees, stating, "It signifies that the candidate has a keen interest in certain issues, and we need personnel to delve into those matters." He continued, "We will assign tasks to prepare immediate execution plans that can be implemented by the government without a transition committee."
