"Your Love" Liwon Acknowledges Past Activities as a BJ and Apologizes

Liwon, a participant in the same-sex dating program "Your Love," has directly addressed allegations regarding her past activities as a BJ.

On the 29th, Liwon posted a lengthy apology on her social media, acknowledging her controversial past.

Liwon began her statement by saying, "Before causing any further harm, I want to directly speak the truth and apologize."

She revealed, "I have engaged in private content broadcasting for a total of three years—from 2016 to 2018 for two years, from November 2021 to March 2022 for about four months, and from February 2024 to September for about seven months." She also mentioned, "During my broadcasting activities, I went on a total of six dinner dates, all of which were healthy meals without any physical contact."

Clarification on Sexual Identity Controversy and Participation Background

Liwon clarified, "I am a woman who loves women. I first became aware of my sexual orientation during middle school, and my first serious relationship was with a woman for two years and six months."

She explained, "Out of a desire to deny myself, I have dated both women and men. The man helped me organize my broadcasts, but whenever he wanted to break up, he threatened to expose my orientation to acquaintances and family, as well as committing acts of violence, confinement, hacking, and death threats."

Liwon elaborated, "In a situation where breaking up was not easy, I applied for the program with a sincere wish to come out myself rather than being outed by others."

Sincere Apologies and Acknowledgment of Responsibility

Liwon said, "I sincerely apologize for disappointing and hurting many people by participating in the program without informing the production team of my past due to my own selfishness, despite the personal circumstances." She bowed her head in remorse.

She also shared, "It is a fact, without any room for excuse, that I engaged in inappropriate broadcasting in the past and that I had met with men before filming. Currently, I have a different job, and I thought all of my past was settled, which is why I participated in the program."

She reiterated, "As a result, I deeply apologize for causing trouble to 'Your Love' and hurting the precious participants."

Liwon expressed, "It truly pains my heart that I could lead to the formation of wrong prejudices against sexual minorities." She added, "All of this stemmed from my selfishness and inappropriate past. All sexual minorities, as well as those related to 'Your Love' and the viewers, are victims. All responsibility lies with me."

"Your Love" is the First Lesbian Dating Reality Program in the Republic of Korea

Meanwhile, "Your Love" is a newly launched lesbian dating reality program produced by the team behind the previously discussed male dating show "Others' Love."

The program was exclusively released on Wavve on the 25th at 11 AM.
