SEVENTEEN has heightened expectations for their comeback, signaling a bold challenge. On the 28th, they uploaded the trailer for their 5th studio album 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' titled 'DARE OR DEATH' on their official social media.

The video consists of three parts and utilizes an interactive format. The story leads to contrasting endings based on the viewer's choices at the conclusion. Side A represents the challenge, while Side B represents the extinction version.

SEVENTEEN has become aware of the daredevil within themselves, realizing the existence of a bold self. This aspect of themselves leads them to the crossroads of challenge and complacency.

In the main narrative, after facing a daredevil engulfed in flames, they fall into an unknown impulse. SEVENTEEN oscillates between anxiety and madness, merging with the daredevil imagery. This suggests that the two entities are one and the same. The scene concludes with a deep breath from Wonwoo and the phrase "Choose. Will you challenge yourself or stay where you are?"

In Side A, a bold challenge is portrayed. SEVENTEEN pushes through fear and moves forward. After embracing the daredevil, they are reborn once again.

On the other hand, Side B presents a completely different ending. They overlooked their inner voices and remained in the present, hidden in the suffocating smoke due to anxiety and fear.

A strong will to challenge can be seen. At the end of each version, phrases like "Face the challenge, reignite your passions" and "Without taking the challenge, there is no new beginning" appear.

The album title 'HAPPY BURSTDAY' combines the English words 'birthday' and 'burst,' encapsulating their determination to be reborn as a new SEVENTEEN.

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN recently held a fan meeting at the Kyocera Dome Osaka in Japan. They will head to the Saitama Super Arena on the 10th and 11th of next month.
