Actor Park Seo-joon has shown warm kindness by donating for children suffering from brain tumors.

On the 29th, a handwritten letter that Park Seo-joon shared on his Instagram contained a message of gratitude from the family of a child who will receive a hematopoietic stem cell transplant surgery thanks to his donation.

The parents of the patient wrote, "Thanks to the donation from Mr. Park Seo-joon, our child was able to safely receive the hematopoietic stem cell transplant. We are truly grateful."

The author shared, "Our child was diagnosed with a brain tumor in January 2024," and added, "We thought this disease was unrelated to us, but we were faced with terrifying words such as surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation, along with enormous medical expenses. It was a difficult situation both emotionally and financially."

He stated, "We learned that hematopoietic stem cell transplantation was inevitable in the treatment process, and the overwhelming feeling upon hearing the cost of the treatment is still terrifying to think about."

A Star Who Gifted Hope

Receiving information from the hospital that Park Seo-joon's donation had reached them, the author shared, "When we first learned about our child's illness, we felt like our family was the only one suffering in the world and we were disheartened. But now, after the first hematopoietic stem cell transplant, hope is slowly beginning to emerge."

When the child was informed about Park Seo-joon's support, they expressed surprise, saying, "I can't believe I received help from such a famous person."

The author continued, "They said they want to meet him once they recover healthily and even mentioned they should become famous themselves. It brought smiles back to our family for the first time in a while."

They expressed gratitude, stating, "Mr. Park Seo-joon's precious support has given our family hope and courage. We also want to live as a family that helps others together with our child."
