Continuing his assault, A forcibly took the unconscious B to a nearby motel and confined her. Fortunately, while A was away, B managed to escape into the hallway and was able to call the police, crying out for help to the guests in the adjacent room.

A allegedly sent a message to B's mother stating, "Mom, I hit her once. I don’t know what I did wrong today," displaying an attitude devoid of remorse. This message has intensified the outrage among netizens.

Habitual assault and even using a bank account… Victim facing surgery

B's family claims that A had been continuously assaulting her and had exploited her through "gaslighting" to extract her living expenses. They also allege that A opened bank accounts and a phone under B's name and handed them over to illegal brokers. In fact, it was mentioned that A had previously assaulted B and had been reported to the police, but the case was closed due to B's plea for leniency at that time.

Currently, B has suffered serious injuries, including a fractured cheekbone, and has been diagnosed with a recovery period of six weeks, as she is soon to undergo surgery.

B's mother expressed her anger, saying, "If there had been no one on the 6th floor of the motel, my daughter wouldn't be alive today," adding, "I can't forgive the thought of how scared she must have been at that time."

Meanwhile, the Pohang Bukbu Police Station has arrested A on charges of special injury and confinement and has forwarded the case to the prosecution.
