A man in his 50s has been arrested by the police for fatally hitting his ex-wife with a car.

On the 28th, the Jeonbuk Jeonju Deokjin Police Station announced that they have requested an arrest warrant for Mr. A (in his 50s) on charges of violating the Special Act on Traffic Accident Handling (causing death).

According to the police, Mr. A is accused of striking Ms. B (in her 50s) with a truck around 7 a.m. on the 26th in Palbok-dong, Jeonju.

It is reported that they were previously a married couple.

A police official stated, "The investigation is currently ongoing, and we cannot provide further details."
