An accident occurred involving a large trailer that ignored height restrictions in an underpass on the Western Grand Boulevard in Seoul.

According to the police's YouTube on the 25th, the incident happened around 4 a.m. on the 11th, and the trailer was trapped in the underpass for about 5 hours, causing traffic disruptions in the area.

The underpass in question was a zone where the entry of vehicles over 3 meters high was restricted.

At the time of the accident, traffic police immediately dispatched to the scene and controlled access to the underpass until the trailer was towed away. They also managed the site to allow diverting vehicles to minimize traffic congestion.

Given that it was Friday rush hour, 8 traffic police officers were deployed to secure safety for over 5 hours.

Eventually, the trailer was safely towed, and the police issued a notice to the trailer driver.

This incident has sparked discussions on the need for improvements regarding the installation location and visibility of tunnel height restriction signs.
