Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon Continues Support for Former President Yoon Suk-yeol
Pastor Jeon Kwang-hoon of the Sarang Jeil Church emphasized his support for former President Yoon Suk-yeol once again during a weekend service held in Gwanghwamun.
He declared that if attendees participate in his worship, he would make them the "Unification President" and rated former President Yoon as the best president after Park Chung-hee and Syngman Rhee.
At the "National Sunday Union Worship" held in front of the Donghwa Duty Free Shop in Jongno-gu, he stated, "Yoon Suk-yeol is the best president after Park Chung-hee and Syngman Rhee," adding, "If you join our worship just once, I will make you the 'Unification President.'"
He also expressed his ambition to make their weekday gatherings a global tourist attraction. He stressed that he would expand the gatherings from Seoul Station to Yongsan, emphasizing his strong determination to completely resolve the situation.
On the previous day, Pastor Jeon made similar remarks at the "Gwanghwamun National Assembly" held in the Gwanghwamun area.
At that time, he asserted, "North Korea will inevitably collapse on its own within two years. Free unification will be achieved within two years," and claimed, "Then, Yoon Suk-yeol must be reinstated as the Free Unification President." These statements reveal his strong political views and belief in unification.
Additionally, he expressed a critical perspective on the ruling party, People Power Party. He voiced his dissatisfaction with the current political situation, stating, "Watching the (presidential candidate primaries) debates, there are no policies; they're just attacking personalities." This reflects his concerns about the current state of the People Power Party and the political direction he envisions.
