"Recommendation to Shower at Least Once a Day During Summer"
A company has garnered attention by posting a notice recommending employees to shower at least once a day.
On the 24th, an internet user, A, who works as a developer at the company shared a notice sent by the management support team on X (formerly Twitter).
The management support team stated, "As the brief spring passes and the hot summer approaches, maintaining a pleasant working environment in the office has become even more important," marking the beginning of the 'One Shower a Day' campaign. They further emphasized the importance of a clean working environment through a 'cleanliness management campaign' that introduced 'personal hygiene tips' and 'creating a pleasant environment' as part of the initiative.

First, the management support team recommended 'one shower a day'. They also encouraged wearing clean clothes and using deodorants or wet wipes to maintain cleanliness. Additionally, they asked employees to "dress in well-ventilated clothing and shorten the laundry cycle for shirts and other garments."
Moreover, they requested that employees ensure ventilation before work and after lunch, and to actively use air conditioning and air purifiers, warning, "Thinking ‘I don’t smell’ is a misconception. People around you just might not mention it."

They also listed scenarios where odors might arise, including cigarette smoke, post-exercise sweat, bodily functions (burping, flatulence), clothing odors, unwashed hair after several days, and smells from meals consumed in the office.
Sharing this, user A commented, "There was someone among the new hires who seemed like they didn’t know how to shower. It seemed they didn't use body wash or soap. But is it true that the management support team actually sent out a notice for one shower a day?"
They continued, "Since the company is a shared living space, I’m grateful for such notifications. Sometimes there are people who come to work wearing clothes that were not dried properly, which can be uncomfortable."
Upon hearing this, netizens reacted with comments like, "I wish our company would issue such notices," "Does the company really have to inform people of how to shower?" "There’s even a male employee who said he prefers to shower with his clothes on to avoid the hassle of laundry," and "Using perfume to mask odor without washing is the worst."
