Hive calls all ‘affiliated girl groups’ except NewJeans… One year ago today was the ‘Adore incident’ with all employees working overtime.

Hybe gathers all girl groups excluding NewJeans for a harmonious group photo

Bang Si-hyuk, chairman of Hybe, brought together girl groups Le Sserafim, ILY:1, and Cats Eye, excluding NewJeans.

On the 22nd, Bang Si-hyuk shared a group photo with Hybe’s girl groups, excluding NewJeans, on his social media, captioning it "United!"

The photo was taken during Le Sserafim's tour, held on the 20th at Inspire Arena in Unseo-dong, Jung-gu, Incheon.

In the cheerful family photo of Hybe, there was no sign of NewJeans, who is currently in conflict with Hybe.

NewJeans declared the termination of their contract with Ador last November and began independent activities, but a court decision barred them from doing so, forcing them to return to their exclusive contract status with Ador.

In response, NewJeans submitted an appeal, but the 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court dismissed it, reaffirming Ador's agency status.

As a result, NewJeans now must obtain Ador's approval for activities as musicians, including songwriting, composing, performing, broadcasting appearances, and signing advertising contracts. They are currently suspended from activities while continuing legal disputes.

Meanwhile, on April 22 last year, the brightly lit Hybe headquarters in Yongsan drew attention due to Hybe employees working late into the night.

On that day, Hybe exercised its rights over its subsidiary Ador, demanded a shareholders' meeting, and requested the resignation of Ador's CEO, Min Hee-jin.

At that time, the industry perceived that Hybe was responding immediately, believing that CEO Min Hee-jin and Executive A were attempting to "exit Hybe" and seize management rights over Ador.
