Two women, presumed to be a mother and daughter, were found dead in an apartment in Suwon, Gyeonggi Province, prompting police to launch an investigation.
According to the Suwon Southern Police Station on the 21st, at around 5:31 PM, two women, presumed to be a mother and daughter, were discovered dead in an apartment located in Gwonseon-dong, Gwonseon-gu, Suwon.
Police and fire authorities responded to a resident's report of a "strong unpleasant odor" and forcibly entered the apartment, where they found the two women deceased.
A short note in the form of a suicide note was found at the scene, and it has been reported that there are currently no signs of criminal activity.
It was reported that a court notice regarding the receipt of documents was attached to the front door of the apartment. The police are investigating the circumstances of the case and have requested an autopsy from the National Forensic Service to determine the specific cause of death.
