'BTS' J-Hope has set the Japanese archipelago ablaze. He graced the front pages of major Japanese media outlets.
J-Hope held his world tour 'HOPE ON THE STAGE' in Saitama on the 19th and 20th. The concert sold out immediately after tickets went on sale.
Local media took notice. Sports Hochi, Daily Sports, and Nikkan Sports released special editions. This is the first time three daily newspapers have published special editions for a K-pop solo artist's concert.
It makes sense, as J-Hope visited Japan for the first time in about two and a half years. There was tremendous interest. Convenience stores near the concert venue were packed with fans eager to buy the special editions.
Local media focused on the Saitama concert. J-Hope's activities as a touring solo artist received significant coverage. His solo works were also introduced from various angles.
J-Hope captivated the Super Arena with his stable live performance and explosive stage presence. He enchanted the approximately 40,000 attendees at the venue in an instant.
He greeted the ARMY (the fandom name) after a long time, saying, "I felt how happy it is to be together. I will dedicate myself to the remaining performances, carrying love for ARMY in my heart."
Meanwhile, J-Hope is set to perform at Kyocera Dome Osaka on the 31st of next month and June 1st.
