“Please be quiet!”

This remark by actress Han So-hee has sparked controversy. A brief video from a recent luxury jewelry brand event where she was filmed has led to misunderstandings, with some pointing out her attitude as being problematic.

9ato Entertainment clarified in a call with Dispatch on the 5th, “The video was edited to capture a moment,” and “(Han So-hee) was not shouting at a specific person. It seems there has been a misunderstanding.”

Han So-hee attended a high jewelry brand party in Paris, France, on the 29th of last month, as a global ambassador for the brand. She enjoyed the party with numerous people and took photos.

The agency explained the situation at the event, saying, “There were too many people gathered during the event,” and “the site staff were also paying attention and responding because they judged there was a concern for safety accidents.”

The noise at the scene made proper communication difficult. It was said that not only Han So-hee but also other officials were raising their voices, asking for a moment of silence.

An agency official stated, “Because such communication was not well heard, Han So-hee said ‘please be quiet,’” and “the party ended in a warm and friendly atmosphere.”
