On the 16th, a fan of the Baopamily shared a video and photos on X (formerly Twitter) showing Aibao hugging her twin cubs Hui Bao and Rui Bao tightly, evoking deep emotions among netizens.

In the video, Hui and Rui are twins born on July 7, 2023, to Pu Bao, and they are preparing to become independent from their mother Aibao in the latter half of this year.

On that day, Aibao sat on a platform and hugged Hui, as if trying to hide her cub from the gaze of people, pulling her down under the platform.

She then strode over to hug Rui as well.

To the affectionate cubs sharing warmth, she left a message saying, "I hope you remember this time for a long, long while. Baogirls."

On the 11th, Everland announced through its official SNS that, "As twin pandas Rui Bao and Hui Bao grow, we are preparing another home for the Baopamily to secure a living space for their future independence from their mother."

Separately from their return to China, it is essential for pandas to become independent between 1.5 to 2 years old.

Meanwhile, the Chinese government leases pandas to foreign countries, and any cubs born must be sent back to China once they turn four years old.

Aibao and Rubao have been in Korea for an extended period due to a 15-year lease agreement. They are scheduled to return to China in March 2031.
