Lim Young-woong donates prize money for sick children… “Hoping it helps treat rare diseases”

Singer Lim Young-woong has practiced warm sharing for sick children.

The Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation announced on the 4th, “Lim Young-woong donated 2 million won in prize money from the Good Star February King of Singers competition to children suffering from pediatric cancer and leukemia.”

His donation will be used to support emergency treatment costs for children suffering from rare and incurable diseases. It aims to alleviate the financial burden on families and assist with surgeries.

The emergency treatment support project carried out in the name of Lim Young-woong aims to protect the livelihood of families when difficulties arise in families of sick children.

Lim Young-woong has been consistently donating his prize money. He has donated a total of 27 times, surpassing a cumulative donation amount of 74.35 million won, aiming to help families with disabled children.

Hong Seung-yoon, a director of the Korean Childhood Cancer Foundation, stated, “Lim Young-woong continues to show unwavering support and love to the children” and expressed support for his activities.

Meanwhile, Lim Young-woong is set to hold the ‘IM HERO’ encore concert at the Seoul World Cup Stadium on May 25-26.
