Shocking Incident in a Building Basement in Changwon City

An incident has occurred in the basement of a building in Changwon City, Gyeongnam, where a delivery driver relieved himself and fled, causing controversy.

On the 17th, a post titled "Looking for the delivery driver who took a dump and ran away" appeared in a delivery driver community.

The author, Mr. A, detailed the incident, stating, "Yesterday at 11:33 AM, a delivery driver wearing a helmet went down to the basement of a building in Daebang-dong, Changwon City, pulled down his pants, defecated under the stairs, and engaged in lewd behavior. There was feces at the entrance, and he ran away. I asked him to clean it up, but he disappeared."

Mr. A described the delivery driver's features, mentioning clothing with "Run2u" written on it and a red helmet, and requested assistance through video evidence.

The 5-minute video that was released shows the delivery driver partially pulling down his pants, moving to a corner under the stairs, crouching down, and removing his helmet and mask, followed by taking off his pants, underwear, and socks.

Identification of the Delivery Driver and Follow-up Actions

According to the video, it appears that the delivery driver used his socks as toilet paper, and upon the arrival of someone else, he hurriedly crouched down and seemed to engage in conversation to explain himself.

Mr. A explained that at this point, he demanded, "Please clean it up," but the delivery driver, with feces on his hands, took off his jacket to wipe the floor and left the scene wearing only pants without underwear.

About 6 hours after the post was made, around 1 PM, a netizen commented with a photo, saying, "He's in front of me."

The delivery driver in the photo matched the description provided by Mr. A and was on a motorcycle.

Through a reply, Mr. A stated, "That's him. Can you catch him? Where are you?" and left his contact information. He later received a photo of the delivery driver from the netizen and reported the incident to the local police station.

Netizens who watched the video reacted with comments such as, "There are all kinds of people in the world," "Is it possible to defecate and engage in lewd behavior in just 5 minutes?", "A defecating rider," "I can understand an urgent need to go, but the lewd behavior is unacceptable," and "Couldn't he have just looked for a nearby bathroom?"

However, some argued after watching the video that it seemed he did not engage in lewd behavior.

This incident, involving defecating in a public place and fleeing the scene, has caused discomfort and harm to others and is likely to negatively impact the image of the delivery industry.

Since a police report has been filed, there is a possibility of legal repercussions depending on the results of the subsequent investigation.
