BTS’s V is set to release a sweet love song.

V will release his new digital single ‘FRI(END)S’ on the 15th at 1 PM. Big Hit Music announced this news on the 4th through Weverse and BTS’s SNS.

‘FRI(END)S’ is a Pop Soul R&B genre love song with lyrics entirely in English. A pink-hued teaser image has hinted at the track’s lovely atmosphere.

Curiosity about the song is increasing, with various interpretations being offered for its title. The emphasis on ‘END’ in ‘FRI(END)S’ has sparked discussion.

The prevailing opinion is that the song marks the end of a friendship and the start of a romantic relationship, as suggested by the title. There is also a viewpoint that it’s simply a breakup song, focusing on the ‘END’.

Fans are pleased with V’s hardworking endeavors. V is currently serving in the military. He released his first solo album ‘Layover’ last September and prepared ‘FRI(END)S’ three months later before enlisting in December.

Big Hit Music plans to sequentially release various content, such as concept photos and teaser videos, that will give a glimpse into the mood of ‘FRI(END)S’.
