“6 out of 10 are K-contents”… Korean works dominate Netflix

Korean works have firmly established themselves as a success on Netflix. Among the top 10 titles on the global chart, 6 are K-content.

According to the latest count of 'Netflix Top 10' as of the 16th, a total of six Korean works made it to the global Top 10 series (non-English) rankings.

Netflix original series have performed exceptionally well. "Akyun" (written and directed by Lee Il-hyung) ranked 2nd, while "Boksak Sokassuda" (written by Lim Sang-chun and directed by Kim Won-seok) came in 3rd.

"Akyun" rose three spots compared to the previous week. The intricate relationships between characters sparked viewers' interest. "Boksak Sokassuda" has maintained a spot in the top tier for six consecutive weeks.

"The Great Destruction Kian-jang" was the only variety show among the series that made it to the top 10 that day, entering at 6th place upon release. It provided unpredictable entertainment.

Programs based on other platforms are also receiving a hot response. The wave series "Weak Hero Class 1" (written and directed by Yoo Soo-min) secured 7th place.

U+ Mobile TV's "Noble Competition" (written and directed by Kim Tae-hee) ranked 9th, while tvN's "Someday, Wise Specialty Life" (written by Kim Song-hee and directed by Lee Min-soo) took 10th place.
