The music of singer G-Dragon transcends space. For the first time in Korea, music and a music video will be transmitted into space.

Galaxy Corporation announced on the 9th, "Today at 8 PM, we will conduct the 'G-Dragon Space Music Transmission Project' at the KAIST Space Research Institute." The audio track and music video for G-Dragon's 'Home Sweet Home' will be sent into space, with the music video being newly created using AI technology.

The project is named 'SETI.' Galaxy Corporation collaborated with KAIST and utilized Microsoft's 'Azure Open AI' technology.

G-Dragon became the first domestic participant in 'SETI,' which is an extension of NASA's 'SETI Project.' The legendary rock band 'The Beatles' previously participated in this initiative. In 2008, The Beatles sent 'Across the Universe' to space, transmitting it to Polaris, located about 431 light-years away from Earth.

A representative from his agency emphasized, "G-Dragon's challenge is expected to become a milestone in the future of 'entertaintech,' bridging space science, AI, and the entertainment industry." They added, "This project will be an artistic experiment that goes beyond a mere musical endeavor, aiming to preserve human culture permanently in space."

Meanwhile, G-Dragon was appointed as a visiting professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at KAIST last year. His term lasts until June next year.
