Actor Shim Eun-kyung will make a special appearance in “One Week Before I Die.”
The production team of the TVING original series “One Week Before I Die” (written by Song Hyun-joo and Jang In-jung, directed by Kim Hye-young and Choi Ha-na) announced on the 8th that Shim Eun-kyung will appear in a special role.
Shim Eun-kyung will play Young-hyun, a senior to Hee-wan (portrayed by Kim Min-ha). She is the only person who remembers Hee-wan, the outsider. Her character will serve as a hidden card in the story.
The production team expressed satisfaction, stating, “Young-hyun, played by Shim Eun-kyung, plays a significant role in conveying Hee-wan's emotional line,” adding, “It was reassuring to have her on board.”
They hoped for interest in the main broadcast, mentioning, “As an actress gaining attention on the global stage, we expect her to deliver an impressive performance in our work.”
“One Week Before I Die” is a story about first love reappearing as a Grim Reaper. Episodes 3 and 4 will be released on the 10th.
