Stray Kids has added yet another record as the first K-pop group to perform at a massive venue in São Paulo.
On June 6-7 (Korean time), Stray Kids held their solo concert "dominATE" at the Estadio do Morumbi in São Paulo, Brazil. They are the first K-pop group to take the stage at this venue, which has hosted acts like Metallica, Madonna, Coldplay, Justin Bieber, and Lady Gaga.
This marked Stray Kids' first visit to São Paulo since their debut, and they received an explosive response from fans. Due to overwhelming demand, additional concert dates were added, and a total of 120,000 fans attended.
They delivered a stellar performance, singing hits such as "MANIAC," "Chk Chk Boom," and "Walkin On Water."
There was also a special stage featuring unit songs from the digital single "Mixtape: dominATE," along with a spectacular fireworks display.
The members expressed their gratitude, stating, "Thank you for waiting for such a long time," and added, "Seeing you all in person makes us feel the love from STAY (the fandom) even more. We are so happy."
They continued, "We hope you felt happy while listening to our songs. It was enjoyable," and concluded with, "Thank you for creating this unbelievable moment for us. We won't forget it."
Stray Kids is currently on their largest world tour to date, which started in August last year at the KSPO Dome in Seoul and will include 55 performances in 34 locations worldwide.
They have now reached the halfway point of their Latin America tour, having performed in Santiago and Rio de Janeiro. Their final shows will take place in Lima on the 9th and Mexico City on the 12th and 13th.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids is set to hold a solo concert at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London this July.
