
Singer and actress IU has surpassed 10 million subscribers on YouTube.
On the 6th, IU uploaded a video titled "10 Million YouTuber Lee Ji-geum" on her YouTube channel. According to the post, the channel exceeded 10 million subscribers on that day.
She watched in real-time as her subscriber count jumped from 999,997 to 10 million. "I’ve become a YouTuber with over 10 million subscribers and a diamond button," she celebrated.
She added, "I will strive to be a 10 million subscriber YouTuber who creates even more entertaining content," and expressed her gratitude to the 10 million and 13 subscribers who supported her.
IU opened her YouTube channel in February 2017, naming it 'Lee Ji-geum' using her real name. She reached 10 million subscribers after about 8 years since its launch.
Meanwhile, IU has appeared in the Netflix series 'My Name is Not Yet'. Her next project is titled '21st Century Great Lady'.
