Eternity Cheongdam Apartment in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul recorded the highest public price in the country this year.
This apartment is famous for being inhabited by singer IU, and it has risen to first place, surpassing The Penthouse Cheongdam, which had ranked first for four consecutive years until last year.
According to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, the public price for Eternity Cheongdam, with a dedicated area of 464.11㎡, is set at 20.06 billion won. This represents an increase of a staggering 7.2 billion won compared to last year.
Eternity Cheongdam is designed by Spanish architect Rafael Moneo and consists of only one building with 29 units.
In privately-built sites within speculative overheated zones in Seoul, complexes with fewer than 30 units are exempt from the ceiling price system and can avoid public subscription regulations, leading to the trend known as the "29-unit rule."

Second place goes to The Penthouse Cheongdam.
The public price of this apartment, with a dedicated area of 407.71㎡, is 17.21 billion won this year, an increase of 810 million won compared to last year.
Like Eternity Cheongdam, The Penthouse Cheongdam also has only one building with 29 units.
Third place is occupied by Nine One Hannam in Hannam-dong, Yongsan-gu, which maintained a public price of 16.3 billion won for its dedicated area of 244.72㎡. This represents an increase of 5.63 billion won compared to last year. Following closely is Hannam The Hill, which recorded a public price of 11.86 billion won for a dedicated area of 244.75㎡, rising by 1.968 billion won, placing fourth.
In fifth place is Raemian One Bailey in Seocho-gu, with a public price of 11.09 billion won for a dedicated area of 234.85㎡. Following closely, Acro River Park in Seocho-gu and Acro Seoul Forest in Seongdong-gu ranked sixth and seventh, respectively.
Eighth place goes to Park Hannam, and Galleria Fore in Seongdong-gu and Traumhaus 5 in Seocho-gu ranked ninth and tenth, respectively. All of the top apartments are located in Seoul, concentrated in Gangnam-gu, Yongsan-gu, Seocho-gu, and Seongdong-gu.
In 2023, Haeundae LCT in Busan was the only non-capital area apartment to make the "expensive apartment" list, but this year it has fallen out of the rankings.
